Thirsty and Boujee

Am I bougie for not wanting to drink anything but bottled water? But a better question- am I a hypocrite? I will walk down the street and pick up bottles to recycle all day. I go through the trash in my apartment, through the boy's room, and to my friend's house to pick up their bottles, cans, cartons, boxes, and all.

Wait, am I subconsciously trying to make up for my bougie-ness??

I mean, right now I currently reside in Orlando and if you know anything about O-Town.. it's that the water is straight trash. At first I thought it was just me and my biased dislike for anything not bottled but when my mother, straight out of Jamaica, drinks water from anywhere scrunched up her face and looked just about ready to spit it in my face, and not even a classic spit take, I knew it was a general consensious. It sucked.

Now, when I go to a restaurant and they give me water- I drink it. But oh my geez if I am not the most miserable person within 20 miles. Here's the thing though, I am so willingly ready to admit that I am the WOAT. It's not even that I take into the consideration of PH levels either, so when peeps try to rationalize it I just hit them with the "nah. I'm just a pita!"
